A: People with wheeze/asthma can do it without shortness of breath because effective medicine and proper training in breathing would enable them to do so. They should do it because exercise would improve exercise tolerance, an important part of lung functions
Q: What should the people with asthma/wheeze be aware of during the day of poor air quality?
A: During high pollution day, exercise indoor with HEPA air filter to improve air quality.They might also adjust the medicine in consultation with their doctors. Do not exercise near main roads as NO2 is emitted from vehicles.
