Our Internship Programme has Officially Kicked Off
This week, we kicked off our much-anticipated internship program, welcoming 18 enthusiastic students from 5 schools, including Diocesan Boys’ School, Diocesan Girls’ School, Island School, St. Paul’s Co-educational College, and West Island School.
Running until 31 May 2025 for 25 weeks, this programme offers our interns an exciting opportunity to dive deep into the critical issue of air pollution. In the kick-off meeting on 21 October, the interns engaged in fun ice-breaking games to get to know each other. Followed by the introduction to the program’s content, where they expressed their eagerness to explore critical topics such as government policies and various health effects of air pollution. We see this as a fantastic opportunity to immerse our interns in relevant subjects that encourage learning and reflection, aligning with our vision for better clean air #education.
The interns then engaged in a collaborative stacking game, working in teams to build the tallest tower. After the game, Patrick Fung, CEO of CAN, shared valuable insights on the importance of building a strong foundation for future and the necessity of regularly reviewing goals and targets.
We are thrilled to embark on this journey with our interns as we work together to make a difference!
