Be the Change|Join Clean Air Neighborhood for Schools in 2024

“Clean Air Neighborhood for Schools” is an interdisciplinary learning programme organized by Clean Air Network, that aims to improve awareness of the impacts of pollution and reduce its impact in and around schools.
Students will use scientific methods to collect and analyze air quality data and propose practical solutions to local air pollution through community participation, design thinking, and policy research. Working with members of the community, students will take part in the fight against air pollution.
The programme is scheduled to start in January 2024, schools in Tuen Mun, Yuen Long and Tin Shui Wan are being prioritized in this term.
The programme will provide six lessons (one being an outside fieldwork activity), an introduction assembly, an air pollution handbook, campaign ideas, action plans and more. A showcase exhibition will be held in July 2024, to empower schools to deliver projects they identified could reduce the impact of poor air quality.
