Internship Programme
The Need
In today’s dynamic world, young people need opportunities to engage with critical issues covering environmental sustainability and public health. To fulfill the IB Programme’s CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) service hours requirement, and equally accommodate DSE applicants, students must connect academic knowledge with real-world applications. Engaging in practical learning experiences prepares them for future education and career development, and equipping them to become future leaders in their fields.
Our Objectives
The Internship Programme is designed to cultivate a generation of youths who are aware of air quality, environmental, decarbonization, and public health issues through key modules on People, Skills, Systems, and Change.
The four domains of activities provide comprehensive learning, hands-on experiences, skills, exposure, and mindset crucial for youth to develop various outputs, which can range from a) development of gamified learning materials, b) knowledge dissemination campaigns in various formats, including zines, video series, and social media series, or c) visualization of environmental, health, or social data with storytelling elements.
