Curriculum Education Programme
The Need
In today’s fast-paced world, students have an incredible opportunity to expand their educational horizons by connecting with real social and environmental issues – including air pollution. There is a growing need for authentic experiences that bring academic knowledge to life. Many eager young learners thrive when given the chance to apply their studies to real-world scenarios, preparing them to become engaged and proactive citizens.
Our Objectives
- For Secondary 4-5 students, the Programme integrates air quality education into existing secondary subjects such as Citizenship and Social Development, Health Management and Social Care, and Geography. Spanning 3-6 weeks, students will be engaged in project-based learning. Public or inter-school exhibitions will be held to showcase their work.
- Key learning areas including science, technology, social studies, and ensuring alignment with subjects such as health management and social care, information technology, chemistry, etc.
- Development of generic skills, including collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and information technology.
