Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Campaign Website Launch

We have launched a new IAQ dedicated section on our website, gathering simple explainers and in depth papers to inform, educate and advocate for monitoring, managing and improving IAQ for all.

As part of our campaign, we are recruiting ambassadors to monitor air quality at various locations around Hong Kong. Volunteers will use a handheld monitor for one week to learn more about the air quality at the locations they frequent in their daily lives and contribute to the public understanding of Hong Kong’s IAQ as part of a citizen science initiative.

Data collected will be made into an interactive map of IAQ spots around Hong Kong, showing the current state of IAQ in the city.
