Literature Review on the Correlation Between Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) and Health and Safety

This report aims to highlight the critical issue of IAQ in Hong Kong by consolidating international and local research through a literature review. Despite receiving less attention than outdoor air quality concerns, evidence reveals that poor IAQ has significant adverse effects on the physical and cognitive health of the Hong Kong population, in addition to imposing substantial burdens on the economy and productivity.
