CAN arranged several knowledge-sharing talks addressing the health impacts related to air pollution with scientific data and perspectives from professionals in the field. Participants from the seminars in Bloomberg, WeWork, Ocean Park and Towngas were curious to know what they can do to take personal action against air pollution. We were also invited to join the discussion panel focusing on air pollution problems by the American Women’s Association.
Encourage Youth Voice
Thank you for the great support from US Consulate General Hong Kong and Macau, CLP and Towngas on our “Let Our Children Breathe” program. We work with a student-led think tank Project Matter in this program to empower the students and parents building up a pollution-free environment in school campuses. Project Matter is started by students from Renaissance College and its current project focuses on the installation of real-time self-built sensors in different schools across the city. CAN has been providing support and advice to the student group.
Donation and Support
This year, CAN is selected to be one of the beneficiary organizations of Towngas eBilling service donation. We also appreciate the continuing support from Charitable Choice and TwoPresents on our fundraising platform.
We are glad to see more people from different sectors concerning environmental problems and their health impact. Please clean up the air with us to protect future health.
